My daughter who is 2 loves the book. We have read it over and over. The story is short and simple and perfect for her to understand. The pictures are a bit crappy..they obviously didnt dress nice for the photo shoot but thats ok. I’d buy it again..then again I could have made this book if I had the time.

This book gets the point across and I like the pictures of lots of different types of nuts so I can show my 3 year old but the story is choppy.

  3. I recently bought this book for my 3 year old son who has multiple food allergies. Although the topic of food allergies and the difficulties related to “safe” and “unsafe” food is challengies, the author manages to present the material with ease. My son immediately connected with the photos of a boy his age and understood the familiar scenarios presented in the book. I would recommend this book to any parent with food allergic children. Thanks to the author for putting out a good book on this subject!

i have a 3-year-old, who is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. I try all the different books for her to understand. This book is great because it is real pictures for her to see nuts and see different food.

she always asks now “mommy is this safe to eat?” I highly recommend it.

We are really enjoying this book. My 4 year old loves it. It is very helpful to have books that make our children feel like they are not the only ones with severe food allergies and it educates them to be aware of the foods they cannot eat. A MUST HAVE!!!
