Anyone can get allergies even though the parents don’t have it. It might increase if someone in the family even has one allergy. It is really unknown. A lot of kids turn out okay without allergies. I mean I have pet allergies and my parents & my sister does not have any. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, allergies can skip generations.

It is very common and not only pet allergies but carpet allergies also.
Give the child claritin or benedryl, keep pets wiped down with olive oil . Fabree the carpets and curtains.

Unknown. Do your grandparents, cousins, uncle, aunts, siblings, neices, nephews? To many variables. Try an allergy test. Simple and will give the real answer as to whether or not the child actually is allergic.
