What’s The Best Medicine/remedy For Pet Allergies?

I volunteer at an animal sanctuary, but my allergies are getting in the way. They have a ton of cats, plus a few dogs, etc. I’ve taken loratadine and cetirizine before, but is there anything more effective (apart from shots) ?
How about an all-natural product called Sinol-M. It’s a nasal spray and it really works. Since I’ve been using it I have no congestion, no post nasal drip, no headaches and I even avoided those dreaded sinus infections. It’s OTC has no harsh side effects or rebound. I haven’t even gotten a cold yet this year. I use it atleast 1x a day. It’s great and I’m enjoying my golden retriever who is sheading so bad right now.
My sister takes Claritin every day. I’m not sure where you are and if it is sold there, it contains 10 mg loratadine USP… if not, I take Benadryl when my allergies flare up with my cats, I take half so I don’t get sleepy. That works the best…. with the Claritin, it takes a week or two for it to get into her system to work well enough on a daily basis…. if those don’t work for you, not sure what else would.
There is no blanket answer to this question, since autoimmune disorders are a systemic problem, and everyone’s systems are different. However, action #1 is to get rid of/avoid pets. This will solve the bulk of the problem. Two is find medications that treat this particular allergy. There are many: allegra, zyrtec, nasonex, flonase, claritin, just to name a few. All have side effects, usually drowsiness, or mild burning (the nasal sprays) but at least one should be effective.
Best wishes.
