How Can I Tell If I Have Allergies Or Cold?

I normally have really bad allergies during the summer and fall. It has not been too bad thus far, but in saying that recently I have started sneeze, and my ears have been killing me . . .also I have started coughing. My fear is it is a cold, and I am going on vacation soon, how can I tell the difference?
every ones allergies are different and they effect everyone differently if these are your normal allergy symptoms then i would say this is allergies one way to tell for sure is try taking zyrtec or claratin for a couple days and if works just keep taking the medicine if not its a cold either way these medicines wont hurt you so its worth a try
well an allergy is like if you are outside and the allergic reaction starts but then stops when your inside but a cold is something you have for like a week maybe then it goes away and then u will be fine for like 3 months then probably get another cold
