How Do You Know If You Have Just Allergies Or A Cold/fever?

I been having runny noses, sneezing, itchy throat for a the past couple of days. people are saying i might have a fever and i think its just allergies. what is the difference between them?

    fever there are germs in your body.
    allergies are seasonal the flower, pollution (well pollution is not seasonal) trees blooming but again that would be in spring.
    did you buy any thing new like stuffed animal there are fiber that some people are allergic to
    did you get a new pet, or been around a friends with new pets.
    if you are getting ready for winter and pulled out the blankets from the closet clean them there has been dust collecting on them.
    get listerine and wash out your mouth if it is a fever kill the germs.
    go to a health food store and get vitamins for allergies
