How Long Does It Take To Know If You Will Develop A Live Cricket Allergy?

I am considering getting one and I am allergic to many things but not lizards :) anyway I am also wondering how you have to touch them to get an allergy. Also is there a way to get around touching them completely so you will not be susceptible to an allergy?

lol, I think I’m the one that mentioned this to you.
I was keeping around 50 crickets alive at a time in a cricket keeper, so they were always in the house. A cricket allergy is pretty rare, so you probably will be fine. Mine took about a year to develop. I now feed phoenix worms and super worms to my geckos. You should try the crickets, if you have a reaction then try the worms.
I didn’t mean to scare you! Sorry!
