Is It Possible To Get A Fever From Allergies?

This doctor claims I have allergies even though I had a fever of 103 last night and it was 100.7 at the clinic and 101 2 hours ago when I got home. I have since taken advil but I don’t believe fever comes with allergies.

There is no reason for you to have a fever if you’re experiencing allergies because there are no infectious germs for your body to kill. Your fever having gotten as high as 103, I would suspect something bacterial. Do you have any other symptoms? I caught pneumonia when I was in my early twenties and I had no clue, no symptoms other than my fever, no coughing, no nothing. A chest x-ray diagnosed it. Another possibility is a urinary tract infection but you can usually tell when you have one of those. Could you try to see a different doctor maybe? If it is something bacterial, you don’t want to mess around with that.
