Is White Gold Or Platinum Recommended For Someone Who Has A Nickel Allergy?

I am trying to decide which metal to choose for my wedding ring and I have a severe nickel allergy; I was told that white gold may contain some nickel as well. Does anyone know for sure or have this type of problem? Thanks for any help you can give me!

Platinum would be the best for anyone with allergy, however, it is the most expensive. The way jewelry are made now, the mix of nickel is higher and I usually can’t wear anything but gold. I find that with some gold, I can’t wear it for a very long time as before. With Platinum, you can be secure that it won’t give you an allergy and also will keep the price up on your wedding ring.
Wear it in good health and good luck on your wedding.
