I’m pretty much allergic from April until we have heavy frosts (October usually)
I already take gobs of Vitamin C – what else do you guys like from personal experience for seasonal allergies?
Local honey. It has to be from within 30 miles of where you live. You can look for it online or check out a farmers market in your area. Put some in a coffee mug and add juice from a lemon and boiling water then drink it.
I am telling you, I am such a skeptical person but I have seasonal allergies also and I don’t like to take a lot of medications or decongestants. My Dr. told me to try a Neti Pot, I had never heard of it. Well I went and got one at Walgreens, it was like 10$. It is the best thing ever!!! It is basically this little blue kettle pot thing, fill it up with lukewarm water and the packet of sodium bicarbonate (so basically a saline rinse) you pour it into one nostril with your head tilted forward over a sink, it goes through your sinuses and out the other nostril. Then do the other one. You can use it as many times as you need to. It works so good and it doesn’t hurt or dry you out, the saline water rinses out all the secretions and pollen that get trapped inside your nose and sinuses and it works sooo freakin good. Just got done using mine, I can breathe!!!!!!!!
***LOL i just saw your comment that you use the neti pot so you already know about that!!!!!!!!!!
Nothing will really ever stop it, but any antihistamine works. It will lessen your body’s reaction to things like that. Vitamins will also help keep them away.
