I’m getting killed by allergies. I’ve been using claritin but sometimes I’m not sure it’s doing much.

Ask your druggist or pharmacist for suggestions. There are several different types of allergy products and what works for some people does not work for everyone. Tell the druggist that you’ve been taking the Claritin and not impressed. He/she will have a suggestion for you, I’m sure!
And if you take other medications, it’s always important to make sure that one does not react with another.
You might want to try zyrtec. It does well with the nasal part of allergies. But for me, claritin is still better. A big part of my allergies is the itching inside my ears, and zyrtec did nothing for that.
Benadryl. Friend is a pharmacist. She’s always saying take Benadryl.
