Why Are Food Allergies So Common?

Why is it so common in North America? I was born in a ‘third world’ country and food allergies are very rare there. Seems like everyone is allergic to something here.

It may be because there are so many different types of food here. Or it could also be because we put so many fake ingredients and chemicals in our food. Those in third world countries probably don’t get food allergies because most of their food is natural.

prob because there are soo many different kinds of ingredients mixed together somthing just happens in ur body. i recently had a food allergy reaction to crustations lik shrimp and lobster, i got hives. so i went to the doctor and found out i all of a sudden hav allergies to crustations but its mild so its only major wen im active. its soo queer
